On the 2PN Periastron Precession of the Double Pulsar PSR J0737–3039A/B

One of the post-Keplerian (PK) parameters determined in timing analyses several binary pulsars is fractional periastron advance per orbit kPK. Along with other PK parameters, it used testing general relativity once translated into precession ??PK. It was recently remarked that ? PSR J0737–3039A/B may be to measure/constrain moment inertia A through extraction relativistic Lense–Thirring ??LT,A??0.00060?yr?1 from experimentally rate ??obs provided post-Newtonian (PN) contributions ??exp can accurately modeled. Among them, 2PN seems same order magnitude ??LT,A. An analytical expression total ??2PN terms osculating Keplerian orbital elements, valid not only for pulsars, provided, thereby elucidating subtleties implied correctly calculating k1PN+k2PN and correcting some past errors by present author. The formula demonstrated equivalent obtainable Damour Schäfer expressed Damour–Deruelle (DD) parameterization. actually depends on initial phase, hidden DD picture, so ?0.00080?yr?1???2PN??0.00045?yr?1. released prediction discussed.
